To answer that question, I dug deep into the multiple listing service database and pulled out all the sales dating back to the mid 1990s. The hypothesis of course is that these types of homes, because of the scarcity of supply and the high demand to own Palos Verdes Coastline View homes, will appreciate at a greater rate
As is said, one picture is worth a thousand words; let’s look at the results. Note the rate of climb from about mid 2001 through 2006 for the two types of property and also note the rate of change between mid 2012 and now.
Clearly you can see that Palos Verdes Coastline View Homes appreciate at a greater rate than other view homes. Do they cost more? Of course they do, but you’re money is going to grow faster and at a higher rate than other types of view property on the Peninsula.
